The Lencioni pyramid (Five Dysfunctions)

The model describes team development as a pyramid with five connected layers:

  • trust - a safe foundation to show up as yourself

  • constructive conflict - being willing to engage with differences

  • commitment - making decisions together and standing behind them

  • accountability: holding each other to what you agreed

  • focus on results: keeping shared goals in sight
